The CLA-300 screen printer integrates a
highly accurate printing capability with a quality inspection zone and
a drying chamber with 24 kW of drying capacity.
The process is fully contained within an environmentally
controlled cabinet, computer controlled for maximum throughput and
configured for an optional video inspection system.
Based on a continuous roll to roll web processing technique the
web unwinds to a hard anodized cylindrical platen for screen printing
and continues through a visual/video inspection station to a the
drying chamber for rewind. The
rewind system includes the ability to introduce interleaving web to
separate the printed surface from the carrier media. |

Samples of screen printers produced by Cladan
|
|
Most of Cladan's manufacturing process are
based on the use of a carrier film to support, stabilize transport
and align the individual layers. To print the conductor patterns on the
ceramic while leaving it on a roll, a printer capable of handling
continuous web is required. Since the web cannot be wound up until the
print is dried, the dryer must be connected in-line with the printer.
Cladan has built several such systems as shown above.
